Because we build our own kitchen cabinets and wardrobes in-house, we understand how a project should fit together, and we hold every trade on site to the same standard. The M Renovation grew out of a working carpentry workshop. The founder's father has run that workshop for more than 10 years, building plywood kitchen cabinets, wardrobes and built-ins by hand. In 2024 the company was formed to bring renovation and carpentry together under one accountable contractor, so homeowners and interior designers no longer have to coordinate separate trades themselves.
Because the carpentry is made in our own workshop rather than outsourced, we control three things that usually cause renovation headaches: quality, materials and timeline. We choose the plywood ourselves, check every cut and joint before it leaves the bench, and keep one point of responsibility from measurement to installation. Our public base is at Arte Cheras, Taman Midah, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, and we work across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Being local means we understand how Malaysia's heat and humidity treat materials over time, which is exactly why we build in plywood instead of particleboard.
